ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS

You will receive your new vehicle license plate normally ten business days after the application has been processed. The rear plate, registration fee and administration cost is 35€ and can be paid either in cash or with Bank Card the day of the initial application. You will receive an email when your plates are available to pick up at the MoFA Office in BLDG 210.

There are 4 European plate formats:

1. Plaque "Rectangulaire" (52 cm x 11 cm)

Front plate: 10€ ==> Total cost for both plates 45€

2. Plaque "Carrée" (34 cm x 21 cm)

Front plate 20€ ==> Total cost for both plates 55€

3. Plaque "Format Moto" (21 cm x 14 cm)

Front plate 20€ ==> Total cost for both plates 55€.
For this plate you need an exemption, stamped and signed by the Controle Technique (CT) office on the pink form "Demande D’Immatriculation d'un Vehicule" in box X10. This is because this type of plate is normally for a motorcycle.
