On Saturday 26 November we will visit Luxembourg City.
This beautiful historic city offers many beautiful sights. You have the Pont Adolphe, one of the largest span bridges in Europe, Cathedrale Notre-Dame-de-Luxembourg, Fort Thungen, etc.
In addition, Luxembourg City is known for the Grund district. Grund is one of the oldest parts of Luxembourg City, located in the lower town on the banks of the Alzette river. Originally, many artists and craftsmen lived in this district, who also traded their works here. In the neighborhood you will still find many old-fashioned, colored houses, making it one of the most beautiful parts of the city. To get here you can use the 71 meter high panoramic glass Pfaffenthal Lift. An experience in itself and, not unimportant, for free.
Public transport throughout Luxembourg is also free; train, bus and tram. Good to know when planning your day in this amazing city!
