THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND IN MONS!

This Friday 6 October, the city of Mons is organizing the “Night of the Museums” (from 1900 onwards; most of the museums will remain open until 2300).
Museums and places like the MMM (Mons Memorial Museum), Doudou Museum, Belfry Tower, MUMONS, Collegiate Church Sainte Waudru, Maison Losseau, etc. will open their doors in the evening. With your bracelet you will have access to ALL the museums that participate – a unique offer!
The theme this year is “Dance”
– that means music and dance throughout the tour.

You can buy your tickets while visiting one of the participating museums tonight, it will cost you 6 €/person. Free for kids under 12.

On Sunday 8 October, the 5th edition of the Half Marathon
will take place in Mons. It will start at 1000. You can register online until 7 October at midnight (fee = 30 €).
There will also be a walk, a kids’ race and a 5 and 10 km run for adults. For info (exact timings, itinerary, etc.) and online booking: https://www.semimarathondemons.be/
Get your running shoes ready, the weather should be nice so let’s enjoy a run (or walk) in the city and its surroundings! You will also help a good cause as all profits will go to “Télévie” (organization that helps scientific research in its fight against cancer and leukemia).
